In 1985 several Southern Baptist missions organizations discovered one another and formed a fellowship, so that their ministries might encourage one another.

Our Current Leadership
President
Eric Ramsey
Eric W. Ramsey is a cross-cultural communication and Christian mission strategist. His career journey includes radio & television broadcasting, marketing, public relations, pastoral ministry, President & CEO of a Christian non-profit, and Southern Baptist denominational leader.
He is the co-author of “Strategic Outreach” with Ed Stetzer, and “Bivocational Church Planters” with Steve Nerger, contributing author of several other publications, and has had dozens of articles published in various periodicals and journals. For 6 years he hosted “Answer His Call,” a national radio talk show on Sirius/XM.
He has traveled to 46 countries, equipping cross-cultural workers and national church leaders; and led ethnographic research backpacking teams to some of the darkest, most difficult to access regions of the world.
Eric has degrees from Ouachita Baptist University, Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, and Baptist Theological Seminary of Trujillo.
Eric and his wife, Gaye, have two Children, Andrew (married to Kaley), and Alisha, (married to Stephen), and two grandchildren. Since 2020, Eric has served as the Executive Director-Treasurer of the West Virginia Convention of Southern Baptists.
Vice President
Javier Chavez
Dr. Javier Chavez was born in Lima Peru but was raised in different countries due to his parents’ missionary work. He has been the church planter, pastor, and director of Amistad Cristiana International, organization he founded and leads since 2001. He is also the Senior Pastor of Amistad Cristiana Iglesia Bautista in Gainesville, Georgia. Javier and his wife Noelia served as missionaries in South America during thirteen years.
Dr. Chavez holds a B.A. in Religion and Social Studies (Lee University - Cleveland, TN); a M.A. in Historical Studies (Wheaton College Graduate School - Chicago, IL), and a PhD in Intercultural Studies (Biola University - La Mirada, CA). Javier is also an Ordained Minister in the Southern Baptist Convention since 2001.
Javier has served in denominational responsibilities as a Georgia Representative in the SBC Committee on Committees in 2018, Executive Committee Member for the Georgia Baptist Convention (2019-2023), 2nd Vice-president of the Georgia Baptist Convention (2019-2020), Hispanic Representative for the Georgia Baptist Mission Board (2019-2020), Georgia Representative in the Hispanic Council for the Southern Baptist Convention (2020), and candidate for 2nd VP in the SBC (2021) and for Recording Secretary (2022). In addition, Dr. Chavez has been awarded a medal of honor by the National Congress of Peru for his service to the nation as a cultural and religious representative (2023).
Javier has been happily married to Noelia for twenty-three years and together they have four children: Joshua (21), Abigail (18), Vania (15), and Maximo Nathanael (12).

We provide life-on-life development, round table discussions, seminars and conferences to help equip leaders to serve their churches and communities with excellence. We believe that strong leadership is the foundation of a strong church and that with the right tools, leaders can make a lasting impact.
At Impact Global Network Ministry, we are passionate about equipping church leaders to be the best that they can be. We are dedicated to providing regular communication, retreats for church leaders, and resources and encouragement to help church leaders in their mission. Our goal is to help church leaders create impact in their local communities and beyond.
